SMITH, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Hinkle), 89, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away peacefully at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV on Saturday, June 16, 2012.
She was born April 24, 1923, a daughter of the late Roy and Edna (Horning) Hinkle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert W. Smith and siblings, Paul, William, Eleanor and Peggy Hinkle, Ruth Hinkle Harrell and Mildred Hinkle Parker.
Until recent years she was an active member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Robin L. Smith, brother-in-law, William Parker and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH.
