COX, Charles A., 84, of Wheeling died Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Washington, PA
He was born September 11, 1927 in Wheeling, a son of the late Charles and Laura Campbell Cox.
Charles was retired from factory work, was a lifetime member of the VFW, a Baptist by faith and was a Navy veteran of WWII and Korean War.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Yost Cox in 2009, and a half brother, Robert Wilhelm.
Surviving are a brother, Floyd "Pete" Cox and his wife, Rose, of West Alexander, PA, and a half sister, Madelyn Wurtzbacher and her husband, Edward, of Warwood.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 5 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling with Rev. Richard L. Skaggs officiating.
Burial will follow in Park View Memorial Gardens.
