CHAMBERLAIN, Keith Emory, age 93, of Moundsville, WV died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at home.
He was born December 13, 1918 in Moundsville, the son of the late Clyde and Clara Myers Chamberlain.
He was a WWII Army Veteran, serving in the Indo-China Theater; a retired supervisor from Triangle Conduit, Glen Dale; a member of Simpson United Methodist Church, where he was a greeter and Sunday School Teacher; a volunteer at the House of Carpenter for over 20 years; started U-Play Baseball League; and was previously a Moundsville City Councilman for 8 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Mae Chamberlain; two infant daughters; and two brothers, John "Jack" Chamberlain and Floyd "Joe" Chamberlain.
Survivors include two sons, Jan (Stephanie) Chamberlain, and Randy (Becky) Chamberlain, all of Moundsville; eight grandchildren, Mark Chamberlain, Craig Chamberlain, and Grant Chamberlain, all of Moundsville, Dawn (Ryan) D'Souza of Richmond, VA, Jill Chamberlain of Moundsville, Randall Chamberlain of Moundsville, Amy (Anthony) Romano of Warwick, NY, and Marisa (Kenny) Woods of Nashville, TN; three great-grandchildren, Kyrsten Romano, Rebecca Romano, and Skylar Dane Peppers; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Teresa G. Markins officiating.
Entombment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.
