WELLSBURG - All water customers of the Hammond Public Service District are under a boil order until further notice.
The order was issued due to a power outage at the treatment plant. Customers are advised to bring all water used for drinking, cooking and brushing teeth to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
It is not necessary to boil water used for bathing. For more information, call the Hammond PSD office at 304-737-4421.
