MURRAY, Wilbur Eugene, 82, of Elm Grove, passed away peacefully at his home on July 8, 2012.
He was born November 26, 1929 in Washington, Pa. the son of the late Kenneth and Edna Brahs Murray.
He was preceded in death by Zora LouElla Murray, his wife of 33 years; Jane Wallace Murray, his wife 14 years; Delphia Izso, his special friend and companion; and a son, David Lee Murray.
He is survived by his children, Goldie Davis of Tennessee, Linda McDougal (Pete) of Florida, Ramona Murray of Ohio, Gene Murray (Lori) of Ohio, and Kenny Murray (Patty) of Triadelphia; two brothers, Don Murray (Pat) and Jerry Murray; a sister, Mildred Riggle; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two step-children, Chuck Wallace (Judy) and Barb Carpenter (Ed); and four step-grandchildren.
He served proudly in the USAF and was a member of the American Legion and FOE 1891.
Friends will be received Monday July 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311), where services will be held Tuesday July 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment in Park View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley Hospice, Liza's Place, 308 Mount St. Joseph Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003.
