ALLMAN, Ronald J., 73, of Moundsville died Thursday, July 12, 2012, in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born July 2, 1939, at Fish Creek, WV, the son of the late Jacob and Helen Evans Allman.
He was a retired operating engineer from Benwood Limestone and a member of Cameron Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Betty Jennings Allman; a daughter, Rhonda (Dan) Wood of Ryerson, PA; three sons, Doug (Terri) Allman, Shawn (Bethany) Allman all of Moundsville, Troy (Darlene) Allman of Cameron; three sisters, Evelyn Hudson, Judy (Bernard) Weigand all of Proctor, Donna (Danny) Morris of Carmichaels, PA; a half-brother, Daniel Allman of Carmichael, PA; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Ron McCoy officiating.
Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.
