PARKS, James Brian, 43, of McMechen, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 2012.
He was born March 7, 1969 in Wheeling, WV, the son of Sharon Downing Parks of Wheeling and the late, James L. Parks.
Brian was assistant manager of the parts department at Wheeling Automotive Group, Wheeling, and a Catholic by faith. He was a member of a dart throwing team called the Bandit's from the Buddy Club in Benwood, WV.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancee, Brenda S. Coulter; two sons, Brandon T. Coulter of McMechen, WV, and Brendan M. Parks of McMechen, WV; one brother, Michael James Parks of Benwood; a sister, Kelly L. Parks of Wheeling; several nieces and nephews and his maternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Lou Downing of Wheeling.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 36th and Jacob streets, South Wheeling (304-232-4060), where services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Mark A. Zelewicz, Sr., officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
