BURRUSS, Joyce Simpson, 88, joined her one true love, Jim, in heaven July 21, 2012 surrounded by all of her loving children.
Born February 9, 1924, in Bethlehem, West Virginia, to William Robb and Mary Ellen Simpson, she attended Wheeling High School and wed Richard "Jim" Parks Burruss on February 2, 1948.
She is survived by her loving children, Sherry Tilton (James), Richard (Patty), and Brett (Sheila); four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. We all will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, California.
