KOSEM, Frank Joseph, Jr, 83, of Wheeling died on Saturday, July 28, 2012 surrounded by his family in the Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH.
He was born September 20, 1928 in Wheeling the son of the late Frank Joseph Kosem, Sr. and Mary Ann Matos Kosem and was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling.
He was retired from Mobay-Miles Corporation now known as Bayer; was a former member of the Fontanas Polka Kings; a member of the SNPJ Lodge 138 where he was past President of Lodge 425 and a member of the National Aeronautic Association.
Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Phyllis J. Clemens Kosem; three sons, Gerald "Jerry" Kosem of Wheeling, Joseph Kosem of Wheeling and Michael Kosem and his wife, Annie of Carey, NC; a brother, Karl Kosem, Sr and his wife, Carol of Valley Grove, WV; three grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth, Adam Michael and Ethan James Kosem and several nieces and nephews.
Friends received on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Wheeling 304-242-2311 where services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Gary Naegele officiating.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
