SINGER, Rodney, 72, of Adena, Ohio, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
Rod was born on June 2, 1940, to the late Kenneth and Isabelle (Coates) Singer, in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Singer.
Rod served in the United States Army and was a mechanic by trade.
Surviving are his wife, Lindia (Hawthorne) Singer; one son, Rod (Jennifer) Singer of Columbus, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Rod and celebrate his life on Monday, July 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Barry Hall officiating.
Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
