McCOMBS, Theodore Michael, 69, of Wheeling, WV, died Monday, July 30, 2012, in Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital and Geriatric Center, Wheeling.
He was born January 19, 1943, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Ellsworth Hallie and Stella Sawa McCombs Williams.
Mr. McCombs was a retired fork lift operator for Ogden Newspapers; he was a Catholic by faith and was a 50-year member of the P.A.P. Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Miller McCombs July 2012; his step-father, Paul Williams; a brother, Anthony Williams.
Surviving are three children, Stephanie L. McCombs (Scott) of McMechen, Douglas M. McCombs (Julie) of Richmond, VA and Michael D. McCombs (Victoria) of Wheeling; granddaughter, Ailea McCombs at home; two brothers, Lewis "Tim" McCombs (Mary) of Wheeling and Tyler Williams (Yulon) of VA; a sister, Tanny O'Connell (John) of Wheeling and several nieces and nephews Friends will be received Thursday, August 2, 2012, from 2 until the time of service at 7 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 36th and Jacob St., South Wheeling (304-232-4060) with Pastor Beth Westphal officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
