EDWARDS, Pearl Lou Brewer, 101, of Wheeling, WV, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 9, 1911 in Chapel Hill, N.C., the daughter of the late Lonnie and Saphonie Brewer.
Mrs. Edwards was a self- employed house keeper and a member of Simpson United Methodist Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Edwards, in 1985; a son, Russell Edward, Sr., and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two sons, James Cotten and his wife, Oteria, of Willingboro, N.J. and Ralph Edwards and his wife, Saundra, of Wheeling; 15 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren; 15 great- great-grandchildren; and a niece, Lorraine Lucas and her husband, Roland, Pittsburgh, PA.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at 4th Street United Methodist Church, Thursday, August 9th, 2012, 11th and Chapline Street, Wheeling with the Reverend Jeremiah Jasper officiating. Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
