Meek Duvall

DUVALL, Meek 83, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Thursday August 16, 2012 in Forest Hill Retirement Community St. Clairsville Ohio.

Meek was born February 23, 1929 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Wilson A. and Lulu H. Meek Duvall.

He was retired from International Harvester Co. of Shadyside, OH, a member of Belmont United Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge 438 F&AM, American Legion Post 52, both of Bellaire. He was a member of the Bellaire Local School Board, Ohio State School Board, Supervisory Board of the Belmont County JVS and President of the Mt. Zion Cemetery Association. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving is his loving wife of 61 years, Millicent Clark Duvall, a son, Gregory Duvall of Bellaire, OH, a daughter Laura (Dr. Wayne) Groux of Belmont, OH, a brother, Marion (Margaret Ann) Duvall of Powhatan Pt, OH, four grandchildren; Sarah Groux (Trentin) Priebe of Columbus, OH, Dr. Rebecca Duvall (Josh) Fabry of Shadyside, OH, Matthew Wilson Duvall of Shadyside, OH and Charles Meek (Jennifer) Groux of Columbus, OH, and three nephews.

Family and friends will be received Saturday from 2-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, OH, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Peter Walburn officiating.

Interment follows in Mt. Zion Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.

The Duvall family gives special thanks to his caregivers at the Forest Hill Retirement Community.

Masonic Services 7 p.m. Saturday. Full Military Honors will be at 1:45 p.m. Sunday conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legion.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army.
