MYLAR, Albert Lee, 74, of Kingwood died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Preston Memorial Hospital with his wife by his side.
He was born January 24, 1938, in Paden City, a son of the late Franklin and Ruth Grove Mylar.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; a member of the Kingwood Christian Fellowship Church; and was a retired aluminum refinement engineer for Ormet Aluminum Company.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia (Ginger) Workman Mylar; a son, Albert G. Mylar and his wife, Alice of Alhambra Calif.; a daughter, Cindy Martin and her husband, David of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren, Stephanie Paul, David Martin and Joshua Mylar; and two great-grandchildren, Carina Rose Marie Paul and Aliza Lee Martin.
Family and friends my call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood from 4-8 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012. On Tuesday, August 21, Mr. Mylar will be moved to the Kingwood Christian Fellowship Church to lie in repose from noon until 1 p.m., the funeral hour, with Pastor Derek Syruws officiating. Interment will follow the service in Maplewood Cemetery.
