GALLOWAY Joyce Ann Law, 75, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
She was born August 18, 1937 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Henry and Amy Turner Law.
Mrs. Galloway was a retired ward clerk at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She was also a member of the East Wheeling Concerned Citizens, life member of the Wheeling NAACP, Wheeling Vets Center and Secretary and Treasure of the Elks Basketball Tournament.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, D'ominique; two brothers, James and Edward Law and a sister, Elva Law Fly.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracey Galloway, of Wheeling; three sons, Perry Galloway, Jr., of Wheeling, Michael Galloway, of Wheeling and Ronald Galloway, of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Ivan Law and Margie of Wheeling and William Law of Wheeling; two sisters, Lanita Weir and Harry of Detroit, MI, and Rosalynn Russell of Detroit, MI; 11 grandchildren, Jalonii Galloway, Sahkita Galloway, De'Juan Galloway, Chaundraya Goodwin, Andre' Brown, Charaun Goodwin, DeVante' Brown, Amber Galloway, Micah Galloway, Makel Galloway and Shelton Galloway, several great-grandchildren and a special niece, Crystal Ann Law, and special friend, Lillian Smith. Also a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received on Saturday, August 25, 2012, from 10 until time of services at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 105 12th. Street, Wheeling, WV, with the Rev.Dr. Melvin Rippy officiating.
