Alex and Peggy Salvatori of Glen Dale are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary today, Aug. 26.
They were united in marriage Aug. 26, 1967 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Antonine Vukmanovich officiating.
Peggy Salvatori is the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret McNeil. She is retired from Marshall County Schools.
Salvatori is the son of the late Fernando and Jean Salvatori. He is also retired from Marshall County Schools, where he taught for 38 years.
They are the parents of two daughters. The family includes Angela Laurie and her husband, Greg, of Madison, Ohio, and Lisa Lipscomb and her husband, Bryan, of Pataskala, Ohio. They have five grandchildren.
