LAURI, Norma C. Sacripanti, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away August 25, 2012 at Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, OH. She was born January 28, 1931 in Wellsburg, WV to the late Nick and Rose Ardent Sacripanti.
She retired from the Brooke County Board of Education Food Service with 23 years of service, and was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudy Lauri whom passed in 1988, four sisters, Betty Cipriani, and Gloria Sacripanti, Virginia Cross, and Jeanette Rocchio.
She is survived by two sons, Greg Lauri of Wheeling, WV, and Joseph Lauri of Wellsburg, WV, one daughter, Tina Aftanas and her husband, Butch of Follansbee, WV, three sisters, Dorothy Sacripanti, and Eleanor Sacripanti both of Wellsburg and Ann Taylor and her husband, Kenneth of Avella, PA.; one brother- in-law, Mario Cipriani of Follansbee, and one sister- in-law Violet Martino and her husband, Frank of Wellsburg, WV, seven grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 12-3 and 5-7 p.m. with a Christian Wake Service being held at 2:30 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles Street, Wellsburg, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Dan Pisano as Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wells burg, WV.
