WILSON, Ruth Louise (Mitcham), 64, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Liza's Place in Wheeling, after courageously battling cancer for over a year.
Ruth was born May 28, 1948 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late George E. and Helen Henry DeFrank Mitcham.
She was a housewife that enjoyed her birds and always put everyone before herself. Ruth loved life and her family.
Ruth is survived by five sons, Tommy Mitcham, Jimmy (Brandy) Wilson, McGee Wilson, Kenny Wilson and Jr. Wilson; two daughters, Lynn Anderson and Becky (Vernon) Bedillion; four brothers, Joe (Jean) DeFrank, George Mitcham, Toby (Robin) Mitcham and John Mitcham; a sister, Martha Bradford; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to the time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, September, 1, 2012 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, with Pastor Glen Baker Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place, 308 Mount St. Joseph Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.
