TAYLOR, Charles W., age 73, of New Matamoras, Ohio died Friday August 31, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Monroe County, Ohio, March 13, 1939 a son of the late Charles Raymond and Lillian Sloan Taylor.
Charles was retired from Ormet Corporation after 35 years of service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jane Taylor.
He is survived by his wife Gladys Ludolph Taylor of New Matamoras whom he married March 14, 1959; one daughter, Cheryl (Steve) Cochran of New Matamoras; one son, Dale (Vergie) Taylor of New Matamoras; three brothers, Wayne (Mary) Taylor of Sardis, Kenneth (Donna) Taylor of New Matamoras, and Ralph Taylor of New Martinsville, WV; one sister, Ruth Ann Taylor of Woodsfield; three grandchildren, Stephanie Cochran, Kristee (Casey) Morris, and Shayna Cochran; special great- nephew Nathan McPeek; and special great-niece Natasha Boron.
Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday September 2, at the Bauer -Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday September 3, 2012 with Pastor Chuck Ferrell officiating.
Interment will follow at the Mehrley Cemetery at Fly, Ohio.
