JOHNSON, Robert Edward "Boo," 65, of Wellsburg, WV passed away on Friday, August, 31, 2012 at Weirton Medical Center.
He was born on April 2, 1947 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Robert M. Johnson who passed away in 1988 and Anna Lee (Welch) Johnson of Wellsburg, WV.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia (Finley) Johnson in 2002.
Boo retired from the former I.M.S. with 32 years of service in Weirton, WV and was Christian by faith.
He was a Nascar enthusiast and was a member of the Cruise and Show Auto Antique Car Club in Cadiz, OH.
He was a loving son, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his two children, Robert E. (Regina) Johnson of Hopkinsville, KY and April (Steve) Massey of Lancaster, SC; his fiancee Ann Roberts of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Aaron Hughes, Anthony Hughes, and Andrew Massey; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Hughes and Paisley Hughes
Boo was a friend to everyone he met and just a great, caring man. Besides his family his other love was his 1970 Chevell SS he restored himself.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 3 from 3 p.m. until time of funeral services at 7 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV with Rev. Craig Greathouse officiating.
Interment will be held privately in Brooke Cemetery in Wellsburg, WV.
