STURM, Michael B., 62, of Steubenville died Thursday, August 30, 2012, at home.
He was born May 8, 1950, in Grafton, WV, the son of the late Elmer and Ruth Ann Densmore Sturm.
In addition to his parents, Michael is also preceded in death by his brother, Louis Sturm.
Michael was an aircraft mechanic for US Steel corporate flight department in Pittsburgh and served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, he served on the destroyer tender USS Bryce Canyon AD 36 and the destroyer USS John R. Craig DD 885.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah Tuttle Sturm, whom he married November 13, 2004; two brothers, Mark (Nancy) Sturm and Patrick (Tina) Sturm both of Parkersburg, WV; two sisters, Marcia Fette of Erlanger, KY and Jan (Michael) Day of Grafton, WV; nephews, Charles and Mark Day, Jason, Joshua and Brock Sturm and Patrick and James Fette; nieces, Ashley, Stephanie and Brianna Sturm and Emily Fette.
Michael was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fr. Timothy Huffman, celebrant. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
There will be a vigil service 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
