BOWMAN, Barbara Lee, 68, of Bethany Pike, Wellsburg, WV, passed away September 9, 2012 at home.
She was born March 7, 1944 in Wheeling, WV to the late Joseph L. and Dora Elizabeth Douglas Bowman.
She was a retired seamstress at Wickham costumes, Stone & Thomas, L.S. Good Wheeling, WV. She was a member of the Kadesh Chapel United Methodist Church, and the Brooke County Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her son Michael Jon Bowman, a brother Sam Bowman, and a niece Kathy Bowman.
She is survived by her brother Joseph "Joe" Bowman Sr. and his wife Gloria Jean Brooks of Wellsburg, WV, also several nieces and nephews survive, John Bowman and his wife Becky of Follansbee, Lisa Bowman Morrow and Matt of Wintersville, OH, Jeffrey Bowman of Follansbee, Joseph K. Bowman Jr. and Heather of Follansbee, WV, several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg, WV. Service will be Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dorcas Conrad officiating. Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery.
