OSTRANDER, Loren Harold, 72, of Fork Ridge Road, Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 in OVMC.
He was born April 29, 1940 in Wheeling, W.Va., the son of the late Jess B. Ostrander, Sr. and Elsie Frazier Ostrander. A member of the J.O.U.A.M. Mound City #6 where he was current state counselor of W.Va. He was a coal miner and electrician and Owner and Operator of Full Service Car Pool Car Wash. Member Marshall Union Masonic Lodge A.F.&A.M. #8, Moundsville and Scottish Rite and Osiris Shriner A.R.A.B. Patroland the Knights of Pythias #79.
Preceded in death by his parents one brother Paul and two infant siblings.
Survived by his companion of 14 years Sally French Arnold; two daughters Lisa (Steve) Morton of Westerville, Ohio, Rachael Arnold of Moundsville, W.Va.; two sons Rick (Pat) Ostrander of Pittsburgh, Pa. and J.J. Arnold and fiancee Nicki Pahl of Moundsville, W.Va.; three sisters Carolyn Piatt of Elyria, Ohio, Latrisha (Vern) Trigg of Neffs, Ohio, Sharon Heath and boyfriend Fred Wilkerson of Moundsville, W.Va.; three brothers Jess (Geraldine) Ostrander Jr. of St. Clairsville, Ohio Robert (Carol) Ostrander of Moundsville, W.Va., John (Barbara) Ostrander of Neffs, Ohio; six grandchildren Cody, Zachary, Alexis Morton, Ralen Arnold and Sue and Stacy Ostrander; three great-grandchildren. and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1109 2nd St., Moundsville, W.Va., where services will be held Monday, September 17, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Sarah Lamb officiating. Marshall Union Lodge #8 will conduct graveside services.
