Gregory Bohrer

BOHRER, Gregory S. "Flash," 57, of Proctor, WV, died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville.

He was born September 27, 1954 in New Martinsville, the son of David Bryce Bohrer and the late Velma Lucille McFadden Bohrer.

Flash was an equipment operator for CSX Railroad for 35 years. He was a member of Moose Lodge #931, New Martinsville, Proctor Christian Church, and a Board Member of the Spieler's Club in Proctor. Flash was President of the Magnolia Athletic Boosters for many years, devoting countless hours of his time to help the student athletes. He was an avid Magnolia Blue Eagle, WVU Mountaineer and Steelers fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother in 2003.

In addition to his father, survivors include a brother, Douglas B. Bohrer; a special friend, Joe Acree, both of Proctor; and all the coaches at Magnolia High School, Booster Officers, and many friends.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment in Palmer Cemetery, Proctor.
