Henrietta Miller

MILLER, Henrietta "Hank" Marie Geiger, 92, of Wheeling, WV, died Monday, September 17, 2012, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

She was born May 24, 1920, in Arnold, PA, the daughter of the late William Clark and Lottie Houck Geiger.

She graduated from New Kensington High School in New Kensington, PA. Hank served in the U.S. Army as a WAC during WW II.

She was a wife, mother, homemaker and a member of the former Third Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles William Miller, Sr., in 2004; five brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Miller, Jr. and his wife, Margaret, of Millville, NJ, and Ronald Miller and his wife, Deborah, of Warwood, WV; three daughters, Patricia Rose and her husband, Robert, of Warwood, WV, Jeanette Miller and Cheryl Glatzer both of Wheeling, WV; a sister, June Cross of Arnold, PA; 11 grandchildren, David (Theresa) Rose, Gary (Dana) Rose, Dianna DeGenova, Jeannette St. John, Jodie Miller, Stacey (Ron) Sacco, Darcie (Jim) Wetzel, Andrew (Whitney) Miller,Lindsey Miller, Timothy (Wendy) Glatzer and Christopher (Mami) Glatzer; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the Kepner Funeral Hone, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732) where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012, with the Reverend David Stammerjohn officiating.

Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 400 Walnut Street, Martins Ferry, OH 43935.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Moundsville Honor Guard.
