MILLER, William "Dale," age 83, of Moundsville, WV, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, WV.

He was born December 29, 1928 in Marshall County, WV.

He was employed at the former Fostoria Glass Company before joining the Army and serving with the 2nd Armored Division in the Korean War; was a retired foreman from Mobay/Bayer Corporation with 29 years of service; was a member of Graysville United Methodist Church; Little Prince Lodge #79 Knights of Pythias, where he was past secretary and past Grand Chancellor; and a member of Moundsville VFW Post #437.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Gatts Miller; a brother, Pierre Byron Miller; and two sisters, Hilda Bussard and Jean Miller.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Noreen Gamble Miller; two sons, Dr. Duane (Tiffany) Miller, and Kelly (Amanda) Miller, all of Moundsville; three grandchildren, Luke William and Kyle Nicholas Miller, and Nia Nicola Miller; a sister-in-law, Shirley Miller of Mozart; and a nephew, Doug Miller, of Mozart.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., with Knights of Pythias Services at 6 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Maryann Nolte and Thomas Tennant officiating.

Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville where the Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct Military Graveside Services.
