HAGERMAN, Ellsworth "Elzy" E., 92, of Wellsburg passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville, OH.
He was born December 7, 1919, in Wheeling to the late Herman and Gertrude Theurich Hagerman.
He was Catholic by faith. He was retired from the Jewel Tea Company as a salesman, he was an Army Air Force veteran during WWII, a member of the Wellsburg Elks and the Wellsburg Lions Club.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded by his wife Helen Ososki Hagerman two brothers Robert and H.E. Hagerman and one sister Doris Clark and one half sister Adelaide Bramhall and one grandchild Brandon Dunlevy.
He is survived by one son Ronald Hagerman and his wife Leslie of Newport News, VA, and one daughter Constance "Connie" Dunlevy of Warwood, one sister Joan McGee of Florida, six grandchildren Rob (Sherrie) Dunlevy, Ryan (Patty) Dunlevy, Rick (Jen) Dunlevy, Chad Hagerman, Jay (Jamie) Hagerman, and Jennifer (Jeff) White, eight great-grandchildren, Trey Dunlevy, Alex and Emily Dunlevy, Dylan and Danyelle Dunlevy, and Weston, Amelia and Lydia White, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg, where Liturgy of the word will be held on Tuesday, October 2 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Dennis Schuelkens as celebrant. Interment will be at Franklin Cemetery in Wellsburg. Condolences mat be left at reasnerofwellsburg.com.
