Whitney Errin Whorton and Lance James Meeker were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Stifel Fine Arts Center, Wheeling, with Thomas Tennant, pastor, officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert "Dan" and Pam Whorton of Wheeling.
The groom is the son of James and Jo Ann Meeker of Glen Dale.
Elaine Schwing and Jodee Hammond were maids of honor. Cory Meeker, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Kelly Riggleman, Brooke Campbell, Jessica Zuzak, Malachi Marple, Andrew Beatty, Joel Sinclair and Ryan Whorton, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at Wheeling Artisan Center.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. She is employed for Steliotis Dental Spa, McMurray, Pa.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering. He is employed with Siemens Environmental Systems & Services in Pittsburgh.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Bethel Park, Pa.
