WHEELING - Oglebay resident Tina Hinzey doesn't mine the extra traffic that comes each October during Oglebayfest and the Ohio County Country Fair, noting the family atmosphere is worth it.
And with barnyard animals, live entertainment and an array of unique food and beverages, she knows there is something to do for everyone this weekend at Oglebay.
"It is just a really nice family atmosphere. There truly is something for everyone," she said Saturday during the festival.

"They do a really good job with this," added Wheeling resident John Siewny. "There is something here for everyone, from the children to those in their 90s."
The country fair is located at Oglebay's Site 1. It features displays of elaborate quilts, homegrown foods and farm animals including cows, pigs, sheep and horses.
"I really liked the pony pull," said Great Falls, Va. resident Amanda Falk. She attended the fair and festival with her mother, Wheeling native Chris Falk.
"It has really turned out to be a nice day," Chris Falk said of the sunny Saturday afternoon. "We try to make it back every year for this."
The country fair also offers a variety of traditional fair demonstrations and competitions for all ages - including quilting demonstrations, butter making, hog calling, fiddling, rock throwing and baby crawling competitions.
Some favorite German foods available at Oglebayfest include grilled bratwurst, knackwurst and sauerkraut. The Harvest Carnival at the Wagon Shed features cotton candy, funnel cakes, corn dogs and fried Oreos.
Relaxing on a bench near Schenk Lake were Pittsburgh-area residents Butch and Jill Shontz, who said they were spending the weekend at Oglebay's Wilson Lodge.
"It is just so relaxing and nice down here," said Jill Shontz. "Everyone is so nice here."
"This area is really blessed to have something like this - to have so much entertainment in one place like this," added Butch Shontz. "The hotel is packed with people coming in for this."
