BEABOUT, Wayne, 70, of Wheeling died on Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

He was born April 9, 1942 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Charles William Beabout and Dora Belle Burchfield Beabout, and was a member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church where he served on many committees.

Wayne was retired from the maintenance department at the McLure Hotel in Wheeling, WV and was a part time employee in maintenance for Felton and Felton in Wheeling, WV. He coached youth sports for many years. He loved train rides, being at the beach with his family, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He also enjoyed telling jokes and spending time with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence and Robert Beabout and an infant brother and three sisters, Dora Fonner and twin infant sisters.

Surviving are his loving wife of 46 and a half years, Sandra "Sandy" Kay Wallace Beabout; his children, Stacey Kay Oliver and her husband, David, of Bridgeport, OH, Russell Wayne Beabout and his wife, Jill of St. Clairsville, OH, and Dawn Elizabeth Patterson and her husband, Bill, of Valley Grove, WV; a brother, Earl Thomas Beabout and his wife, Ann, of Dallas Pike, WV; five grandchildren, Alex R. and Zachary M. Oliver, Danielle E. and Tanner W. Patterson and Brooke Klempa and her husband, Justin; a great-granddaughter, Emily Klempa and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling, WV (304-242- 2311). Services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Elm Grove United Methodist Church, 125 Kruger St, Wheeling, WV with the Reverend Bryan D. Carpenter officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV 26003.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Elm Grove United Methodist Church Organ Fund; Easter Seals, 1305 National Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003; or Shriners in c/o Osiris Temple Monument Place, PO Box 2048, Wheeling, WV 26003.
