WITSCHEY, Agnes Rosalie Lancaster Poole, 96, of Wheeling, WV passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012.
She was born October 14, 1915, daughter of the late Clarence and Verna Poole.
She was a member of Church of Christ on National Road. She was a retired custodian for the Wetzel County School Systems. She was a seamstress, quilter and avid gardener.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl T. Lancaster; her second husband, Kenneth Witschey; a brother, Arnie Poole; a sister, Geraldine Poole; and a step-son, Gordon Witschey.
Surviving are four daughters, Cathie Lancaster-Sears of Gaithersburg, MD; Nancy Clark (Jim) of Wheeling, Dianne Eddy of New Martinsville, WV, and Eleane Jackson (Sam) of Bridgeport, OH; a step-son, Gary Witschey (Pam) of Paden City, WV; two sisters, Edna Gump of Greensburg, PA, and Ruth Stine of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Heather Austin of Sandusky, OH, Scott Jackson (Liz) of Lansing, OH, Gwendolen Blew of Columbus, OH, and Ross Jackson who is a student at Ohio State University; and two great-grandchildren, Ollie and Adi Jackson.
Friends will be received Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd., Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732), where friends will also be received on Monday, October 15, 2012 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., with Ron Stullenbarger officiating.
Interment at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
