AKERS, Evelyn Kile, 91, of Sistersville departed this life Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, OH. She was born in Tyler County, August 20, 1921 a daughter of the late Asa and Florence Ling Kile.
Evelyn is survived by two sons, Roger and Steve Akers; a daughter, Nancy Hezoucky; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Akers in 2008; two brothers, Jack and Bill Kile; two sisters, Irene Dillon and Betty Ball.
Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Furbee Funeral Home, Route 18, Tyler. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Victory United Methodist Church, Indian Creek Road, Alma. Interment in Victory Cemetery.
