COLE, Roger Scott, age 59, of Moundsville, WV, died Monday, October 15, 2012 in Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.
He was born July 20, 1953 in Wheeling, WV the son of Charles and Wilda Flouhouse Cole of Wheeling, WV.
He was a pharmacist and founder of the Moundsville Pharmacy, formerly the Medicine Shop; a member and elder of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Wheeling; a member of WVU School of Pharmacy Alumni; past President of West Virginia and Ohio-Marshall County Pharmacist Associations, and JMHS Band Parents; several time recipient of the Ohio-Marshall County Pharmacist of the Year Award, received the Bowl of Hygeia Award; and Marshall County Chamber Lifetime Achievement Award.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 36 years, Elaine Whipkey Cole; a daughter, Sarah (Joe) Reggi of Wheeling; two sons, Justin (Jennifer) Cole of Pittsburgh, PA, and Zane (Jessica) Cole of Moundsville; two brothers, Randy (Joyce) Cole, and Steve (Barbara) Cole, all of Wheeling; a sister, Janet (Joe) Campeti of Wheeling; grandchildren, Austin and Anelise Cole of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Eleanor Knight of Moundsville; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Frank Minton of Washington, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, Moundsville and Friday from 10 until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1343 National Road, Wheeling, WV with Rev. Kenneth Hardway officiating.
Entombment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
