Jack Barry

BARRY, Jack Earl, 68, of Wheeling died on Saturday, October 20, 2012, in the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling.

He was born January 18, 1944, in Wheeling and was a son of the late John J. and Erna A. Kinkade.

Jack was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with the U.S. Postal Service in the Wheeling Office; a U.S. Army Veteran and a Christian by faith. He was a member of the Elm Grove Eagles Aeries 1891, and loved fishing with his grandsons, history, the Pittsburgh Pirates, WVU football and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Suzanne Braden Barry; his children, Beth Mangus of Wheeling, Deborah S. McKennen and her husband, Jerry, of Wheeling, and Robert J. Barry of Wheeling; a brother, Thomas A. Barry and his wife, Nancy of Wheeling; his three grandchildren, Zachary J. and Jacob L. McKennen and Nathan Mangus, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends received on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Wheeling (304 242-2311) where services will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Robert P. Nagy officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
