Moundsville School Temporarily Locked Down

Police Pursue Robbery Suspects in Area

MOUNDSVILLE -- McNinch Primary School was temporarily locked down today while law enforcement pursued robbery suspects in the area.

According to a police report, the Fourth Street school building was secured about 10 a.m. and was able to resume normal activities about noon. The Moundsville Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff's Department were pursuing suspects in a home robbery that occurred on Ohio Street.

Officers arrested John Gonchoff and Larry Eddie on robbery charges and transported them to the Northern Regional Jail.
