A motorist was injured Tuesday when her vehicle collided with an Ohio County school bus about 3 miles from West Liberty.
The accident occurred about 9:15 a.m. on GC&P Road near its intersection with W.Va. 88, right outside the former Henry's service station. No students were on board at the time of the crash.
West Virginia State Police Sgt. Mike Hogan said paramedics transported the injured woman, who was driving a Chevrolet Aveo, to Ohio Valley Medical Center. He did not know how badly she was hurt.

Emergency responders tend to a motorist who was injured Tuesday when her vehicle collided with an Ohio County school bus on GC&P Road. No students were on board the bus at the time.
The car sustained severe damage to its left front, including a bent mirror, crumpled fender and hood. Firefighters worked for a short time sweeping glass and other debris from the wreck off GC&P Road.
Hogan said the bus driver was not injured but went to a hospital for a blood test, which Hogan said is routine when someone with a commercial driver's license is involved in an accident. Neither he nor the injured driver were cited at the scene.
The bus sustained noticeable damage to its left rear bumper but was able to be driven away. Hogan said the accident remains under investigation.
In addition to State Police, responders included the West Liberty and Clearview volunteer fire departments and West Liberty University police.
