MORRIS, John Dyson 81, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away November 4, 2012, at home.
John was born May 2, 1931, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Carl Morris and Lula Irene Tush Morris Hood.
He was a member of the Bethany Pike Church of God, and retired from Weirton Steel after 36 years of service in the Blast Furnace.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Jo Anne Thompson Morris; two brothers, James H. Morris, Albert Hood; one sister, Sarah Davis; and one granddaughter, Becca Doll.
He is survived by three sons, Dusty Morris of Follansbee, WV, Rusty Morris and his wife, Mary Kay of Wellsburg, WV, and Timothy M. Morris of Cleveland, OH; one daughter, Kim Doll and her husband, Archie of Wellsburg, WV; seven sisters, Helen Yost, Pauline Bolen, Beulah McGowan and her husband, Larry, Rose Dillie, Donna Schoolcraft and her husband, Scherrill all of Wellsburg, WV, and Demaris Daugherty and her husband, Joe of Claysville; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.
There will be no visitation.
