THOMPSON, Mary Lou, 85, of Wheeling died Wednesday, November 7, 2012.
She was born January 9, 1927 in Grafton, WV, a daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Archer Hufford.
Mary Lou was a member of the Edgewood Lutheran Church and collected antique dolls and dollhouses.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert F. Thompson in 2000, a brother, Harry Hufford, Jr., four sisters, Abby Ambro, Christine Wilson, Geraldine Graham and Helen Bartlett.
Surviving are three children: Bradley H. Thompson and his wife, Kathleen, of Wheeling and recently relocated to Raleigh, NC, Barry Thompson of Blanco, TX, Becky Gantzer and her husband, Greg, of Wheeling; a brother, Frank Hufford and his wife, Judy, of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Sandy Phillips and her husband, Wayne, of Richmond, VA; eight grandchildren, Jessica DeFrank and her husband, Michael, of Raleigh, NC, Ryan Thompson and his wife, Maria, of Temecula CA, Stephanie Temple and her husband, James, of Fairfax Station, VA, Kristin Ward and her husband, Tom, of Baltimore, Allison Mueller and her husband, Brandon, of Bel Air, MD, Seth Gantzer stationed in Norfolk, VA, Robert and Mary Lou Thompson both of Blanco, TX; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Soup Kitchen or Edgewood Lutheran Church.
