Many of the contenders from the general election Tuesday already have mobilized supporters to take down the campaign signs that amount to small, unsightly forests at many sites in the Northern Panhandle and East Ohio.
Good for them! As we've suggested in years past, voters should remember candidates who did the right thing in getting their signs down quickly after the election.
But some political signs remain in place. That isn't terribly surprising; the election was just a few days ago.
Still, candidates - both winners and losers -should make it a priority to have the signs removed as soon as possible.
Voters should remember the names of candidates who don't bother to do that.
