John and Carol Saseen of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Nov 10.
They were united in marriage Nov 10, 1962 in Wheeling.
Carol Saseen is the daughter of the late James and Delma Schank of Wheeling. She works at Oglebay's Good Zoo.
Saseen is the son of the late John and Vera Saseen of Wheeling. He is retired from Sugardale Foods.
They are the parents of two children. The family includes Rick and his wife, Tammy, of Lewisville, N.C., and Christine and her husband, Navy Cmdr. Matt Shipley, of Pittsburgh. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
They celebrated their anniversary on a trip to Hawaii with their daughter and son-in-law in the spring and a dinner party with family and friends on a Gateway Clipper dinner cruise in Pittsburgh Saturday, Nov 10.
