The St. Clairsville Sunrise Rotary, in conjunction with St. Clairsville area grocery stores and Kathy Osovich from Harvey Goodman Realtors, are preparing to "Pack the Truck" for the St. Clairsville Food Pantry.
The St. Clairsville Food Pantry, sponsored by the St. Clairsville Council of Churches, provides food assistance to families living in the St. Clairsville School District who meet certain income guidelines.
The pantry serves more than 300 individuals each month and the number continues to grow. Sunrise Rotarians will be stationed at St. Clairsville grocery stores this weekend and will be prepared to pack the truck with donations from shoppers wishing to support the cause.

"Pack the Truck" in 2011 supplied more than 1,500 meals to local families in need.
Non-perishable canned goods, pantry staples and health/hygiene products are items to consider sharing.
The food pantry prefers canned goods to be in the 15-ounce size and items not to be in glass containers
The truck will be stationed at the following St. Clairsville locations: 4-9 p.m. Friday at Wal-Mart; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sam's Club; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Riesbeck's.
The "Pack the Truck" food drive is sponsored by the St. Clairsville Sunrise Rotary and by your St. Clairsville grocery stores.
The truck is supplied by Kathy Osovich from Harvey Goodman Realtors.
The main objective of Rotary is service - in the community, in the workplace and throughout the world.
Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence.
