Brad and Susan Simms of Claysville, Pa., celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday, Nov. 4.
They were united in marriage Nov. 4, 1972 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Claysville.
Susan Simms is a licensed practical nurse and para-educator in the McGuffey School District.
Simms is director of corporate safety and security at Ohio Valley Medical Center and East Ohio Regional Hospital. He is a volunteer firefighter and a Navy veteran.
Both are very active in the Claysville community.
They are the parents of two daughters. The family include Stephanie North and her husband, Carl, of Claysville and Susanne Dorsey and her husband, Scott, of West Alexander, Pa. They have four grandchildren.
They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
