Phil and Debbie Comer of Wheeling celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday, Nov. 17.
They were united in marriage Nov. 17, 1972 at Bethlehem United Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John E. Karnes.
Debbie Comer is the daughter of the late Al and Betty Zymbroy. She has been a hairdresser for the past 45 years.
Comer is the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Comer. He is a retired teacher of Ohio County Schools and still actively coaches football, basketball and track at Triadelphia Middle School.
They are the parents of two children. The family includes Larry and his wife, Michelle, of Bethlehem and Shannon Spigarelli and her husband, Jim, of Wheeling. They have four grandchildren.
They have celebrated their anniversary with family and friends in Florida and with their family at home.
