ARMS, Debra L., 58, of Glen Dale, WV, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at her home.

She was born August 25, 1954, in Buckhannon, WV, the daughter of Sylvia L. Cross Arms of Glen Dale, and the late Benjamin "Benny" Arms.

She was a Nurse Practitioner, having received her LPN degree at BM Spurr School of Nursing, her RN degree at Washington Hospital School, and her BSN & MSN at LaRoche College.

Her work history included Reynolds Memorial Hospital, OVMC, Traveling Nurse Corps, Tucson Medical Center, Tucson, AZ, St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, WV, Allegheny General Hospital and VA Medical Center, both in Pittsburgh, PA; she taught Nursing at UPMC St. Margaret School of Practical Nursing; and taught Gerontology at West Liberty State College.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church; an avid quilter, Moravian Star maker; and a caretaker of all.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Sam Postlethwaite.

In addition to her mother, survivors include a brother, David Arms; three sisters, Linda Long, Janet Postlethwaite and Denise Arms; brothers-in-law, John Long and Dave Postleth waite; nieces and nephews, Jason Long, Adam Long, Jim Postlethwaite, Carrisa Wells and Kaylyn Arms; and five great-nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1601 First Street, Moundsville, with Pastor Greg Blair Officiating.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
