ST. CLAIRSVILLE - It's official. Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram opens its new 47,000-square-foot location Monday.
The move comes during the car dealership's 95th anniversary year. With the huge expansion comes a massive indoor showroom, a state-of-the-art service area with more bays and an increased staff.
Fourth generation owner/operators Brian and Robert Thomas have spearheaded the expansion and move, under the guidance of their father, Harland Thomas. The facility, located in the former Roomful Express building near the Ohio Valley Mall, was remodeled with the customer in mind. It comes complete with wireless Internet, TVs and a laptop desk for customers to use while they wait.

Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be moved into its new 47,000-square-foot home on Monday, Nov. 26.
The Thomas brothers said they are thrilled about the move but would be remiss not to acknowledge their father for making it all possible.
''We've learned from the best and thank him, our grandfather and great-grandfather before him for paving the way for this family business and making it the success it is today,'' Robert Thomas said.
''Yes, had it not been for the hard work before us, this may never have been possible,'' Brian Thomas added.
Tom Butler and Eddy Brown are the newest members of the Thomas sales staff. Both men come to Thomas with many years of sales experience, most recently in sales of the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram brands. Butler was born in Wheeling, graduated from Barnesville High School and has lived in Barnesville his entire life. Butler has been married for 30 years and has two children and two grandchildren.
''I would like to invite all past and future customers to Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to stop in and say hello and to allow me to give you any assistance in your future automotive needs,'' Butler said.
Brown, a Florida native, comes with many years of automotive sales experience. He said he is proud to call the Ohio Valley home and enjoys volunteering in the area.
''The Thomas family runs a dealership that is second to none, and I invite anyone in the market for new car or truck to stop in to see what this growing dealership has to offer,'' Brown said.
Also, a new addition to dealership is Jeff Hilt of Richmond, Ohio. Hilt is Thomas's new special finance manager. He assists customers with less-than-perfect credit. He brings 20 years experience in the auto industry. Under the direction of Chuck Hawkins, the sales staff also includes Tracy McBride, Mike Cox, Tim Taylor and Tina Brown.
