CLARK, Kenneth E., 86, of Shadyside, OH, died peacefully in his sleep Saturday November 24, 2012.
He was born March 28, 1926 in Stewartsville, OH. a son of the late Elmer and Louise Lassagne Clark.
He was a retired Chief Deputy of the Belmont County Sheriff's Department with over 22 years of service.
He was also school bus driver for the Shadyside School District, a member of Weyer Lodge #541 F & AM, Osiris Shrine, Fraternal Order of Police, Methodist by faith, served in the U.S. Army WW II Pacific theater where he earned the Purple Heart medal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry "Bear" Clark and a brother, James Clark.
Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years Margaret Maloney Clark; sons, Gary (Fran) Clark of St. Clairsville, OH., Ron (Karen) Clark of Shadyside and Kevin Clark of the home; a brother, Floyd (Evelyn) Clark of Neffs, OH; and a sister, Jackie Clark Mehl (Rich) of Jacobsburg, OH; grandchildren, Cory (Jessica) Clark, William (Amy) Clark, Kari Clark and Jacob Clark.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3900 Central Ave., Shadyside where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randy Weaver officiating.
Burial follows in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Full military honors will be conducted Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. by the Belmont County Council of American Legions.
