SCHULER, Thomas W., 58, of 318 Guilford Avenue, Woodsfield, OH, died Wednesday at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W.Va.
He was born at Wheeling, W.Va. on February 17, 1954, son of Clara Jacqueline Spears Schuler who survives of Beallsville, OH and the late Fred William Schuler.
He was a retired coal miner for Consolidation Coal Co. #4 Mine, Clarington, OH, and former employee of the Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, OH.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Woodsfield, OH.
Tom was also a coach for the River High School football team, Hannibal, OH.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Fritzie Alloway and a brother, Terry Schuler.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Dana Haver Schuler, whom he married on February 17, 1979; one son, Tom (Cathy) Schuler of Warner Robins, GA; one daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Cunningham of St. Clairsville, OH; one sister, Robin (Mark) Stephen of Beallsville, OH; and two grandchildren, Emily and Drew Schuler.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 OH 78 West, Woodsfield, OH, from 2-7 p.m. Friday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
