CUSICK, Joseph Robert, of Tiltonsville died on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at his daughter's home in Venice, Florida.
He was born August 19, 1923, in Tiltonsville, OH, to Homer and Essie (Garner) Cusick.
Joseph was a retired State of Ohio Roads Inspector, WWII combat wounded veteran, wounded at Riva Ridge, Mt. Belvidere, Italy, a member of the Army 10th Mountain Division ski troops, VFW member, Yorkville, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Essie Cusick Beck, brother, Ciakley Cusick, and twin brother, Jay Cusick, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vera (Nedveski) Cusick; daughter, Brenda (Dominic) Snyder, of Martins Ferry, OH and daughter, Kathryn (Frank) Broz of Venice, FL; five grandchildren, Frank (Shannon) Broz III, Joseph (Lindsey) Broz, Heather (Steve) Moon, Jonathan (Blaine) Snyder and Jessica (Donnie) Miller; great-grandchildren, Brynn and Dominic Snyder Chloe Broz, Alexandra, Julianna and Nicholas Miller and Jackson Moon; a niece and several nephews.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 337 Jefferson St., Tiltonsville, OH. Rev. Tommy Thomas will officiate.
Military services conducted at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. by the Belmont County Council, VFW.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH.
