BROSKI, Emma G. Bickerton, 84, of McMechen, WV, passed away December 12, 2012, at the Home of the Good Shepherd.
She was born January 20, 1928, in Glen Dale, WV.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Velma Slonaker Bickerton and by two infant sisters, Betty and Bertha Bickerton.
She graduated from Benwood Union High School and loved to bake and crochet.
She is a retiree from the former Hill's Department Store and a lifelong member of the First Christian Church of McMechen.
Surviving is her husband George Broski, whom she married in 1947, two daughters, Georgiann (Ang) Polsinelli, Carolyn (Russ) Neff, one son, Paul (Judi) Broski.
She has six grandchildren, Joseph (Chrissy) Polsinelli, Justin Polsinelli, Tony (Jolynn) Neff, Jennifer Neff, Bryan (Susie) Broski, and Paul J. Broski; seven great-grandchildren, Riley Polsinelli, Francesa and Grace Neff, Benjamin Henderson, Gabrielle and Chloe Broski and Jocelyn Broski; one sister, Judy (Tom) Dziorney; several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, where funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, with Rev. Rodney Hubbs officiating.
Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
