By SARAH HARMON - Staff Writer , The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

People who buy a new car from Elm Grove Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram can pull out of the lot smiling, knowing that their purchase has a made a child's holiday a little brighter.

As part of the dealership's third annual toy drive for Toys for Tots, Elm Grove Dodge is donating $100 for every new vehicle sold from the lot to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upper Ohio Valley. In turn, Big Brothers Big Sisters will use the funds to purchase toys for families in need for the holidays.

"This is for the kids that don't get a Christmas," Elm Grove Dodge owner Tom Constantin said. "Anyway we can help out is the motivation behind this drive."

According to Constantin, the dealership has raised close to $5,000 from car sales so far - already exceeding the $3,500 raised from last year.

In addition, Chrysler will donate $100 for every Dodge Grand Caravan, Journey and Chrysler Town and Country sold until next Friday.

Elm Grove Dodge is also an official drop-off location for Toys for Tots and will be collecting toys for House of the Carpenter in Wheeling. The toy drive will continue until Dec. 21.

Customers and residents interested in donating may bring toys or monetary donations to Elm Grove Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram at 2538 National Road and 5 Elm Grove Crossing Mall in Wheeling.
